Terms of Service
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Welcome to Piano Palace. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and purchases from our store, subject to applicable law and any written sales agreement provided with your purchase.
About Our Store
Piano Palace sells pre-owned acoustic pianos. Our website allows customers to explore available instruments, learn about our store, and contact us to arrange a showroom visit or purchase.
We encourage customers to visit our showroom to inspect and play an instrument before purchasing.
Product Information and Condition
All pianos offered for sale are pre-owned unless expressly stated otherwise. Each instrument has its own history, appearance, and characteristics. Signs of age, prior use, and cosmetic wear may be present.
We aim to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, dimensions, serial numbers, and estimated manufacturing dates. Manufacturing dates determined from serial-number references are approximate unless supported by factory documentation.
Photographs and videos help illustrate an instrument but may not capture every detail of its condition. Please contact us with questions about a specific piano before purchasing.
Availability and Pricing
Each pre-owned piano is an individual instrument, and availability can change as showroom and online inquiries are received.
Prices are stated in U.S. dollars. Unless expressly included, sales tax, delivery, specialized moving, and additional services are separate from the advertised piano price.
If a listing contains a material pricing or description error, we will notify you before proceeding. You may accept the corrected information or cancel the affected order for a refund of any payment collected.
Online Requests and Order Confirmation
Purchases require personal coordination with our store. After you submit an online order or purchase request, Brian, our owner, or another authorized Piano Palace representative will contact you to confirm:
-
The specific instrument and its availability.
-
The purchase price and applicable taxes.
-
Payment arrangements.
-
Delivery or pickup requirements and costs.
-
The anticipated delivery or pickup schedule.
An automated acknowledgment confirms receipt of your submission; it does not, by itself, confirm availability, reserve an instrument, or establish a delivery date.
Your order is accepted when Piano Palace provides direct written confirmation of the agreed sale details. Any material changes require your agreement. If we cannot fulfill your request, any payment collected for the unfulfilled order will be refunded promptly.
Payments, Deposits, and Reservations
Payment requirements and any deposit or reservation terms will be disclosed before you commit to the purchase and documented in your sales agreement.
Submitting an inquiry does not reserve a piano. Any reservation must be expressly confirmed by Piano Palace.
Please do not send credit card details through ordinary email or website contact forms.
Delivery and Pickup
Pianos require specialized moving services. Delivery costs depend on factors including distance, instrument size, stairs, elevators, access, and other moving requirements.
Delivery charges and the anticipated schedule will be confirmed with you before transportation is arranged. A website submission does not establish a guaranteed delivery date.
Customers must provide accurate delivery information and disclose stairs, narrow entrances, difficult access, or other relevant conditions. Any resulting changes to the moving quote will be explained and agreed upon before proceeding.
Please inspect your piano upon delivery and report any concerns promptly. Signing a delivery receipt does not waive your warranty coverage or rights under applicable law.
If we cannot meet an agreed shipping or delivery commitment, we will notify you and provide any delay-consent, cancellation, and refund options required by law.
Returns and Refunds
Piano Palace offers returns within 30 days of delivery, subject to our Returns & Warranty policy.
There is no restocking or return-processing fee. Customers are responsible for professional return moving costs. Original delivery charges are nonrefundable for voluntary returns.
Returns must be arranged with Piano Palace in advance, and the instrument must meet the condition and timing requirements described in our Returns & Warranty policy.
These conditions do not limit remedies required by law for defective or incorrectly supplied instruments.
Five-Year Limited Warranty
Pianos purchased from Piano Palace include our five-year limited parts and labor warranty, beginning on the delivery date, with in-home/on-location service for covered repairs.
This warranty is provided directly by Piano Palace. Coverage, exclusions, and service procedures are described in our Returns & Warranty policy, which forms part of these terms.
Any separately applicable manufacturer’s warranty is subject to that manufacturer’s terms and eligibility requirements.
Website Use
You agree to use this website lawfully and to provide accurate information when contacting us or submitting a purchase request.
You may not interfere with the website’s operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent requests, or use our content for unlawful purposes.
Website Content and Third-Party Services
Our original website text, photographs, videos, and branding may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission. Manufacturer names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Our store uses Shopify and may link to third-party websites or services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
Privacy and Communications
Personal information submitted through our website is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
By submitting an inquiry or purchase request, you authorize us to contact you about that request using the contact details you provide. This does not automatically enroll you in promotional communications.
Consumer Rights and Written Agreements
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, warranties, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
A separately agreed written sales agreement may provide transaction-specific details. It does not reduce mandatory consumer protections.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Changes apply prospectively and do not alter previously accepted orders or warranty commitments without your agreement.
