Piano Palace Return Policy & Five-Year Limited Warranty
All pianos sold by Piano Palace are pre-owned. We stand behind our instruments with a 30-day return policy and a five-year limited parts and labor warranty.
30-Day Return Policy
You may return your piano within 30 days of delivery. There is no restocking or return-processing fee. Customers are responsible for the cost of professional piano moving back to our showroom.
To arrange a return, call 845-334-0770 before scheduling transportation. The piano must be returned within the 30-day period in the same condition as delivered, without new damage or alterations, and with any accessories included in the purchase.
Return transportation must be performed by professional piano movers. Customers are responsible for arranging transportation and ensuring the instrument is protected during the return move.
Once the piano has been received and inspected, we will refund its purchase price to the original payment method. Original delivery charges and return moving costs are nonrefundable.
Delivery Inspection
Please inspect your piano upon delivery and note any visible damage or concerns on the delivery receipt before signing. Contact Piano Palace promptly regarding delivery damage or an incorrect instrument.
Signing for delivery does not waive your 30-day return eligibility, coverage for hidden defects under our warranty, or rights provided by applicable law.
Five-Year Limited Parts and Labor Warranty
Every piano purchased from Piano Palace includes a five-year limited parts and labor warranty beginning on the delivery date.
This warranty covers defects in the piano’s mechanical and structural components that affect its proper operation under normal use. Covered repairs include necessary replacement parts and labor at no charge.
Warranty service is provided in your home or at the instrument’s location and must be arranged directly through Piano Palace.
This warranty is provided and administered by Piano Palace, the selling retailer. It is not a manufacturer’s warranty. Any separately applicable manufacturer’s warranty is governed by that manufacturer’s terms.
Warranty Exclusions
Unless expressly included in your written sales agreement, this warranty does not cover:
-
Routine tuning, voicing, regulation, or maintenance unrelated to a covered defect.
-
Existing disclosed cosmetic imperfections, ordinary cosmetic wear, or normal aging that does not affect proper operation.
-
Damage caused by misuse, accidents, spills, neglect, or unsuitable temperature or humidity.
-
Damage caused by moving, storage, or alterations after delivery.
-
Damage caused by improper repairs or servicing by others.
Requesting Warranty Service
Call 845-334-0770 to request service. Please provide your purchase information, the piano’s model and serial number, its current location, and a description of the concern.
Piano Palace will assess the issue and arrange appropriate service for covered repairs. Please contact us before commissioning repairs for which you intend to seek reimbursement.
Your Legal Rights
The 30-day return period does not limit your five-year warranty coverage. Return conditions and transportation charges described above apply to voluntary returns and do not limit remedies required by applicable law for defective or incorrectly supplied instruments.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
